“ANYTHING THAT IS WORTH DOING IS WORTH DOING WELL” The origination of the company goes back to the 1970’s when Natwar (Nat) Treekam began his apparel manufacturing business in a small town, Labasa in Fiji. Treekams Garments at the time catered for the designer local market. His experience came through the training he received from the master tailors. During the years, his son, Rohit Treekam joined the business only to further expand the company to Lautoka (25km from Nadi) in 1985. The company took a new direction into denim wear and continued to aggressively market its product locally. During this period, the company acquired franchise rights to manufacture Lee Jeans. It was after 1988 when the export markets opened with a Tax Free Status being given to Treekams Apparel Limited. The company began exporting exceptionally high quality woven and denim wear to USA, Australia and New Zealand. After a decade, a subsidiary company, Natsons (NZ) Ltd was established in New Zealand by Sanjeet Treekam to market and distribute its own brand of garments under “Denizen”. A presence that now accounts for its recent growth. Today, the Treekams Group of Companies has a diversified portfolio from importing, manufacturing, wholesaling, distributing, retailing and exporting quality garments together with being the market leader in the Fiji market.
